An Evening with Zvi Alon, October 23, 2005

On Sunday, October 23, a group of young adult Russian Jews, all up-and-coming entrepreneurs in their own ways, had the pleasure of meeting with NetManage President and CEO Zvi Alon. Zvi, a world-renowned financial adviser, successful investor and major philanthropist, found his true niche with NetManage. He had the foresight to realize that personal computers and direct communication were the future, and had a key role in developing the technology that enhanced both. If you've gone online to buy an airline ticket, make a car reservation or check your bank account, you've probably done so with the help of NetManage.

Zvi offered advice to the group about working in the technology sector, starting one's own business, overcoming hardships such as the dot-com crash in the early 2000s, and the importance of giving back to the community in order to find true fulfillment. He took the time to answer all of our questions, ensuring that we left with greater knowledge and insight. His personable manner paired with impressive background made him an ideal speaker.
