After a delay due to the war in summer 2006, the ninth cohort of the San Francisco Diller Teen Fellows were very excited to have their Israel Seminar re-scheduled to coincide with Passover in April 2007. The teens spent an exhilarating two and a half weeks traveling around the country exploring leadership, their Jewish identity, community service, and their connection to the land and people of Israel. They spent time in the Negev desert, in Jerusalem, in Tel Aviv, and visiting with their friends in the Upper Galilee, San Francisco's partner region.
