Chai Baby Playgroup/Tot Shabbat

The first Chai Baby Playgroup/Tot Shabbat was held at the Peninsula Jewish Community Center on November 11, 2006. Early childhood educator Mimi Greisman from Congregation Adath Israel in San Francisco led the program with 25 Chai Baby families in attendance. The group enjoyed singing Shabbat songs and dancing with stuffed torahs, playing parachute games and blowing bubbles. Mimi Greisman's husband Irving Greisman, founder of Irving's Premium Challah, provided a fresh challah for each family to take home.
