On the weekend of October 29-31 the Diller teens met for a final retreat at the Marin Headlands Institute. During this retreat, which was mostly planned by the fellows themselves, the Diller teens celebrated Shabbat together, touched base and were led by extraordinary Jewish educator Jenni Mangel in a "Doing Good Well" workshop. In this workshop the Diller teens discussed the Jewish concepts of Tzedaka, Tikkun Olam and Gmilut Chasadim, got to familiarize themselves with different non-profits who serve both the Jewish and the non-Jewish Communities, and brainstormed different possible projects that they are going to initiate in the community once the official program is over, stay tuned!
